Supremely cushioned and impossibly light, the HOKA ONE ONE Rincon is your new do-it-all running shoe.
Like all HOKA running shoes, designers gave the new Rincon a generous portion of midsole foam—it’s stacked as high as the cushy HOKA Clifton 6—but they were able to keep the weight to a minimum for an impossibly speedy ride.
HOKA achieved the minuscule weight by using a single-layer mesh upper on the Rincon, similar to the one used on the carbon-fiber-plated HOKA Carbon X. The upper gives the shoe breezy comfort while still allowing a lockdown fit.
The foam underneath is firmer than the Cilfton and HOKA Bondi 6, which makes it responsive enough for speedwork while still providing ample cushion for long runs. Testers in the Fleet Feet review of the HOKA Rincon loved the versatility of the new Rincon.
So whether you need big cushion for big mileage, or teensy weight for track days, the HOKA Rincon will get the job done.
